Join us for the fourth annual Point Reyes National Seashore Fungus Fair! Learn about the fungi of the Point Reyes National Seashore. You can pore over the remarkable colors and shapes of native wild mushrooms on display.

Amateur mycologists will be on hand to talk about the Point Reyes Mycoblitz Forays, mushrooms, and their role in the environment. Learn more about the Bay Area Mycological Society activities, scientific and educational mission. Dorothy Beebee will give a lecture on "Dyeing with Mushrooms," and Debbie Viess will give a talk on "Edible and Poisonous Mushrooms in the Bay Area."

Collect fungi for the fair! Join local mushroom walks on Saturday, February 7. Meet at the Bear Valley Visitor Center at 10:00 am. Bring your finds to the Red Barn at 1:00 pm. for identification. Park visitors and local residents are welcome to participate!
